Managerial and operational support for construction sites

LexCase teams work closely with major public and private projects. As a result, the expression “site lawyer” or “project lawyer” illustrates its full meaning. Given the financial stakes of these major projects, every decision can have an impact on the cash flow and economic profitability of the site. In this context, our support in the field is designed to act as a global link between operational and technical teams and legal teams for draving strategic management of public and private contracts and relations with project owners, third parties and public authorities: comments on Service Orders, official correspondence to the project owner or other builders, contractual framework notes, site management, assessment of the legal risks specific to each scenario, negotiation of amendments, amicable or legal expert reviews, mediation and amicable resolution of disputes.

Contractual support for project teams

LexCase guides technical teams, in close collaboration with legal teams and contract managers, to successfully manage projects in a contractual and legal environment that is often complex and involves several parties (project managers, design offices, agents, public authorities, local residents). LexCase’s teams have extensive experience in the strategic preparation of claims during execution of contruction projects in FRANCE (both for public and private owners), and in negotiating such claims with public and private project owners. Our department masters the different strategies of contractual negotiation for large-scale private and public construction projects: drafting of claims proposals, summary memoranda in support of claims, contestation of settlement operations, amicable compensation appeals, etc.

Expertise in amicable dispute resolution

The lawyers in our Major Projects team support their private clients in amicable discussions with private and public project owners, to help resolve disputes amicably and reach agreements: mediation, commercial negotiations, proceedings before ad hoc committees, arbitration, etc.
