The integration of a new Partner and the signing of a partnership in public business law; an appointment as Of-Counsel in Real Estate law
LexCase is pleased to announce the arrival of Alexandre Riquier as a partner in the Public Business Law Department, along with his entire team, the promotion of Alice Angelot (Real Estate Law) to Of Counsel, and the signing of a partnership with Bernard de Froment, also in public law.
Alexandre Riquier’s appointment as a partner marks a new stage in the development and structuring of the firm’s services for public law practitioners.
After several years of experience in administrative and judicial courts, Alexandre, who was admitted to the bar in 2011, practiced at the firm ADAMAS Affaires Publiques, which became Adaltys, before joining PUBLICA-AVOCATS on January 1, 2018, where he became a partner alongside Bernard de Froment, Honorary State Councillor.
Alexandre and his team advise and assist public and private clients, providing both advisory and litigation services, particularly in the areas of public entity law, public service law, and contract law. His operational approach, grounded in a thorough and comprehensive understanding of the workings of public entities and their constraints, is driven by a commitment to legal security and strategic support for public, semi-public, and private decision-makers.
His ongoing commitment to higher education and professional training is a defining characteristic of his career. After teaching public law at several institutions, he currently teaches in the Master II program in Local Government Law at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University. He also regularly contributes to professional training programs. He is the author of several books on local government law, public service law, and public contract law, as well as numerous legal publications.
Alexandre’s integration into LexCase thus fulfills a shared ambition: for Alexandre, to join a rapidly growing firm offering a multidisciplinary platform focused on excellence, allowing him to strengthen his legal support and develop synergies beneficial to his clients; for LexCase, to consolidate its position in public law by partnering with a recognized team possessing complementary skills.
Alexandre’s arrival also provides LexCase with the opportunity to forge a privileged partnership with Bernard de Froment, Alexandre’s former partner at the firm Publica-Avocats. Bernard brings a wealth of experience: as a lawyer since 2007, as a member of the Council of State, and as an elected official at both the local and national levels. Alexandre Riquier comments: “My meeting with the LexCase team confirmed the alignment of our goals.” “It’s the combination of a highly qualified profile and in-depth expertise with an excellent, organized, and rigorous structure, capable of offering our clients top-tier support while maintaining the close and readily available relationship that is so important to me.”
The appointment of Alice Angelot (Master II – Real Estate and Urban Planning Law) as Of Counsel recognizes her outstanding career within LexCase’s Real Estate Law department, working alongside Aurélie Pouliguen, Partner.
A lawyer since 2019, Alice has worked alongside Aurélie Pouliguen since then and has been with LexCase since May 2022. She advises and represents the firm’s clients in various areas of Real Estate Law (Commercial, Professional, and Residential Leases; Construction and Real Estate Development; Transactions and Sales; Property Management and Condominiums), both in litigation before the courts and in an advisory capacity. Her practice also allows her to represent her clients’ interests in mediation and court-ordered expert assessments.
For Aurélie Pouliguen, “I am very proud and delighted by Alice’s promotion, which recognizes her loyalty, the excellence of her work, and her commitment to clients, and which also contributes to the ongoing development of real estate law within our firm.”
