Alexandre RIQUIER

After gaining experience in administrative and judicial courts (High Court, Administrative Court of Appeal, Conseil d’Etat), I was sworn in as a barrister in 2011 and went on to practise in several law firms specialising in public law.

Together with my team, I advise and assist public and private clients on all aspects of public law, both in an advisory capacity and in litigation, particularly in the areas of public entity law, civil service law and contract law. My operational and hands-on approach, based on a detailed and cross-disciplinary knowledge of how public entities operate and the constraints they face, is designed to provide legal certainty and strategic support to public, para-public and private decision-makers.
At the same time, my career has been marked by a constant commitment to higher education and professional training in order to maintain and strengthen, but also to share, these skills. After teaching public law at several institutions, I now teach on the Master II programme at Paris II Panthéon-Assas University, where I am a member of the improvement council and the examination board. I also regularly participate in professional training courses for our clients or reputable organisations (La Gazette des Communes, Le Moniteur, Achatpublic.com).

I am also the author of several books on local government law, civil service law and public contract law, as well as numerous legal publications.
